New Residents: Akasha & Hollie

This year, PrideRock Wildlife Refuge welcomed two very special new residents: Akasha (top) and Hollie (bottom). 

At just six years old, Akasha has already shown her playful, sweet personality. She has adjusted beautifully to life at PrideRock, quickly becoming comfortable with her new surroundings and the caregivers who look after her each day. 

Hollie, 16, has settled in wonderfully, too. One of the best parts of her new home may be her neighbor, Kumal. The two seem to enjoy having each other nearby and have developed a comfortable relationship as neighbors. 

We may not know every chapter of Akasha and Hollie’s stories before they came to us, but we get to be a part of the chapters ahead – ones filled with excellent care, enrichment, safety, and a home they can count on.
